Harv whats your free T like ? If you didn't get a big E spike from starting finasteride (which obviously we can know) then there shouldn't be reason for your libido to necessarily drop.

i dont think i got a big E spike from fina as my E level from my blood test is 139 and on the blood sheet normal range is between 95 - 225.
However finasteride is meant to boost E & T by 15%
I didnt get my free T done as it wasnt included.
Could it be my E is low?

What about your hair?? Did your hair grow

No ive just regressed over the past 9months. before fina my hair was better. i took finasteride to stop the inflamation and scalp tingle which it did but the first month gave me crazy sides which caused my hair to fall out, havent recovered since

Impossible to say dude . My T went up 20% on finasteride but my E went up 68% but I was still ‘in range’ . You really need to know your natural baselines to comment because we all have a different homeostatic balance.
Would you say your libido is higher than before finasteride ? And is finasteride helping your hair ?

You take both finasteride and dutasteride and didn't get hair growth!!! maybe you have another reason for hair loss

yes my libido is definately higher since i started to taking finasteride.
finasteride is helping to stop inflammation and scalp tingling for sure but it 'damaged' my hair in the first month as mentioned
I really dont know whats preventing my hair from growing normally and its really fustrating, big mistake not doing my bloods before

There have been rare cases where finasteride hasn’t actually suppressed DHT and stays high through some sort of ‘backdoor’ synthesis.

I'm willing to bet your hair was already sh*t and was getting drastically worse when you finally got on finasteride. And since it didn't hault your loss right away, you pointed the finger at finasteride and dutasteride.

It doesn't work that way.

If the drugs are not stopping hair loss, you're just not a responder, due to your genetics and extreme sensitivity to hair loss. In short, your follicles make the B list. But, there's still hope, keep taking it, because efficacy is up to two years. And that 2 years is especially for people with bad hair; for to turn that train around it takes quite some time.

For the time being you dont aromatase T (and androstenedione)into estrogens due to your enzyme function =genetics;
And other steroids not dependent on it did not stimulate the estrogen receptors (yet).
I mean, can happen

i dont think you understand, the drugs work, iam a responder, I loose less hair then before i started taking both, However, my body had a sudden shock to the system when i first started taking finasteride and i had crazy sides in the first month which caused a massive shed/hair fall. Now my hair is lifeless and less dense from that and im assuming because my hair is not regrowing normally how it used to now it is because of the hormonal imbalace in my system now which i dont know how to correct.

Its not just hairloss taking its toll as many think because otherwise it would be restrricted to a couple of areas. I just have no idea why my hair dosent grow properly now all over my scalp now, can only put it down too these drugs changing my hormones as ibe researched you need the right hormonal balannce for healthy hair to grow.

Im not sure what you're asking, but what you described can happen, but if i was you i would not go straight that way, even if i know people than endured your situation for a decade

Aromatase enzyme is what is protecting you right now from converting this exceeded amount of T into estrogens.
Some people can take it for years, some dont...but you're going that way
Remember hormones are all about balance
Im sorry i can't be more clear than this
