Dutas 1 week and no sides

Well One week after changing from finasteride to dutasteride I do not appear to have any sides.

When on finasteride the last 2-3 months I was on 0.25mg due to tiredness/briaifog being intollerable at full dose.

I decided to take dutasteride at recommended 0.5mg per day which is going to be way stronger than my 0.25mg finasteride and so far no change in libido (which was always high on finasteride apart from when I started finasteride when it was all over the place for a couple of weeks). Still a bit tired but no different. Was worried dutasteride would hit me like a ton of bricks.

I only bought a small amount of Dutas just in case my sides hit me hard but think i'll order a larger amount now that things seem to be o.k.

I always think those with major sides its the body fighting against it and that's not good and maybe a sign it will not work as well. No or little sides means body is tollerating it..so i'm seeing it as a good sign and really hoping that dutasteride is going to be the answer....

So all you worried about more sides on dutasteride than finasteride maybe not always the case..so far its not the case for me..dutasteride is better in this respect

As soon as I switched from finasteride to dutasteride, I really noticed the decline in ejaculate volume - near zero on some occasions! :freaked: But I persisted and volumes seemed to return to near-normal after about 2 weeks.

Nick I am really glad you are not experiencing any major sides on dutasteride. Like you I have lost significant ground on Propecia and am starting to think that it will do nothing for my hairloss. I will give it 1-2 more months before I jump on the dutasteride bandwagon. Please keep us posted on your results. I really hope dutasteride works for you!
