Hey,

I often heard that some guys are afraid of generic dutasteride.
I just want to tell you, that I've seen the real price of Dutas in an indian pharmacy.

It's about 150 Rs for 10 pills.
What is $3,20!

There's no need to fake anything.

And, the manufacturer of Dutas is Dr. Reddys.

Bye and good luck with your regime guys

The only reason they would be fake is if http://www.inhousepharmacy.com is unable to get dutas from Dr Reddy's because they won't sell it. I don't know how well every pharmacy is monitored or if any agencies check to see if there is a prescription for every order. As long as every step of the way is not monitored, I see no reason why a real pharmacy would not open up an internet site not connected to them and sell it. Physical Indian pharmacies would have a huge incentive to sell their drugs online to americans, if they only get $3.60 locally.

i took dutas from unitedpharmacies for ages, the results werent as good as they were when using genuine avodart.

After about 3 years on dutas i noticed i was getting nowhere and doubled the daily dose, two 0.5mg pills per day

I got major bladder irritation, pain in my urinal tract and painful urination.

I switched back to genuine GSK avodart and started to shed straight away, i never shed on the dutas so there must be something different between the two drugs i was taking.

generics are suspect.........they can be easily forged i would stick with genuine GSK avodart, you can never be 100% certain but it would be harder to forge the real stuff than the generics.

I've been on dutas for like 4 days and I can already see my hair thickening up. Is that possible?

No, you are seeing things.

Your metabolism and hair follicles require a MUCH longer time to notice ANY of the effects of dutasteride/finasteride on your hair.

4 days is hardly a layer of dust on the Grand Canyon that is your hair.

maybe its just that my hair is getting longer and since my hair is curly it is covering up the scalp that used to be more visible.

aplunk,

do you think that if ive lost some hair in front in the past year that dutas can regrow all of it?

I think that you are likely to regrow MOST of it back, although not all of it.

And after you regrow your hair, you, like many dutasteride users, may somehow perceive this regrowth as accelerated frontal loss, which is probably NOT the case. Regrown hair is often thin, and takes a long time to thicken up.

Supplementing your dutasteride regimen with minoxidil and, perhaps, MSM, is necessary. In my experience, minoxidil and MSM will help thicken up your results.

In the long run, you are more likely to have overall better hair results with the dutasteride, as opposed to finasteride.

thanks.

i'd rather stay away from topicals like minoxidil for the moment because that's a commitment unlike popping the dutasteride.

how long did it take you to see noticeable regrowth on dutasteride, aplunk?

Well, I had started minoxidil about 1-2 months before begining dutasteride therapy.

In all, I began seeing a drop in hairs shed within 1 month.

I began noticing temple and side-hair regrowth (the areas above the side burns but below the temples) within 2-4 months.

Crown and mid-scalp had thickened within months 1-6, and I think I am maintaining, with slight loss in density from all the shedding in the last 4 months.

Unitedpharmacies is the place I get mine from. I have tried them all, Dutagen is the cheapest at the mo and it's the stuff I am on!

Dutas, Duprost and Dutagen.

I have even tried Avodart, they are all the same to me. :D

What has been your problem with Dutas, aussieavodart?

Have you been keeping your meds in the fridge as it can get pretty hot in OZ for meds?
