Exact same as mine and i only started 3 weeks ago. Ive done alot of reading about our sides and what it could mean; apprently there is a upregulation in androgen activity of the scalp, followed by DHT follicle sensitivity. Its not good and if your body dosent adjusy it dosent get better from peoples experiences. Have you had less thinning or has your hairloss accelerated over the year youve taken it?

Accelerated. Very heavy shedding and thinning.

Its tough to say whether things should improve, to me a year is along time and alot of hair growth should happen in that time but people say results can take longer.
But im more worried that these sides arent a good thing thats why there hasnt been improvement because the upregulation is causing an extra senesitivity to dht hair folicles. The body should get used to the drug androgen regulation should go down and then maybe if u get a limp dick like the majority people on this forum the drug effictivness might start work for stopping hairloss

Hairline is 100% fine. There might be a small thinning bit on one of your temples, but thats normal with age and over time the temples might gradually start to thin and receed but i wouldnt worry about it now unless you see or feel a significant change in that region and hairs are easier to pull out.

Very high libido, scalp itching and excessive sebum on scalp. Scalp is also inflamed.

How do you deal with the sides if its been a year? Im on 3 weeks and its getting too me already

So, I have been taking dutasteride for a year now and got my bloodwork done a few days ago.
My DHT is off the charts. Even with dutasteride it's 2.5 times higher than baseline for males. What should I do now?

Where did you get DHT test. In India, it almost costs 18000 Rs.

Have it checked. 2.5mg dutasteride means you're trying to completely shut DHT which is extremely unhealthy, unlikely to do good to hair and likely to do the opposite - increase in DHT as body will try to compensate/homeostasis.

But initially 2.5 mg duta worked for me.
