Early sign of a future Norwood 7 or normal ?

Hello,

I already know that I have androgenetic alopecia, I lose my temples in the classic way. I am a NW2.5 at 25!

My crown is doing pretty well in density as we can see in the last photos. But I had never noticed this demarcation on my crown in the first photos before. Do you think this is normal? Or this demarcation is clearly predicator of a future Norwood 7 (like all the men in my family).

Looks like thining in NW8.5 region to me. Your balding is too agressive for salvation.
I feel your message is ironic. I'm not talking about a present baldness but possible in the future by these demarcations are strange and perfectly fit the silhouette of a NW7.

In addition I have well set back temples and all my male family tree is NW7. It is not crazy to ask that.

Well if you are going to lose your hair, that is likely the pattern that will follow. I have never seen a whirl in such a prominent pattern given your density still being solid. That said, I'd like to see the back in direct lighting as well as hairline pics.

I have the impression that we can see even less with more light ... But here is a photo of the crown with direct lighting and of my temples.

I have a recession that has been increasing slowly for 7 years.

Crown is in the early stages but obviously the hairline is concerning too. With that kind of family history, and with that perforation thing going on, I would definitely opt for a stronger regimen to prevent such an aggressive pattern from progressing further. You probably need to be on oral finasteride/dutasteride. How long have you been on your current regimen?

Minoxidil for 7 years and everything else is very new, a little over a month I would say! I have also just started the finasteride in extreme microdosing

Do you think it's really aggressive? I'm 25 and I started to lose them at 18, I have the impression that things are going slowly and that for 25 I am not so bad. In addition my father, my uncles and my grandfathers were at least nw5 at my age. My older brother has no recession. I hope I don't have such aggressive baldness ...

I would say it's moderate at this stage, there is obvious miniaturization along the hairline, but yes it's not as bad as I've seen. The thing is that no one knows if it will progress or stabilize. Stick with your new regimen for at least a few months and then check back in.

Keep with the BIG3 and add a derma roller.
