Early sign of Gyno?

I have been on finasteride for 5 months. Everything was all good up until yesterday. I woke up with a slight soreness in my right nipple. No mass or anything. It is just kind of sore. Is this an early sign. I really want to stay on it. My hairless has halted.

An endocrinologist (hormone doctor) is really the best person to answer that question.

Thanks for the response. Yes I agree. I actually tried to schedule an appointment yesterday, but they are booked for two months. There are not too many in my area.

It was the earliest sign for me, the nipples became sensitive even to the slightest touch (e.g. friction against the clothing) which causes discomfort.
As time went on, the breast lumps started to appear.

Weird. I have been on proscar for less than two weeks and I'm fairly sure I have developed hard tissue in my pec area

It wasn't finasteride i was on, it was something much more.
Those lumps are actually swelling of the glands, once i stopped using the culprits, everything went back to normal.

Glad to hear it man. Yeah the pain subsided a bit, but it is still a little sore. I lowered my dose. Mine only hurts in one nipple. I would think it would hurt in both.

Pain is still there and I have been off of finasteride for 5 weeks. WTF. I do no have fatty tissue though.

Quit finasteride for three weeks nipple still hurts. Went see dermatologist he said he did not feel any signs of gyno, but nipple pain is a sign. I don't know what to do. My hair is going so quickly. Truly depressed.

Take Tamoxifene/Raloxifene until the pain stops

Probably wouldn't touch finasteride again

I read about someone who thought he was getting gyno because his breasts were sore. A while later it turned out that the pain he was feeling was actually because of constantly checking his breast for lumps. I suggest you stay 4-5 days without touching your breast at all to see if the pain goes away, this is a short time frame so it likely will not cause any problems. Also get some kind of an expert to check you on this, even if it just a general physician.
