You can see a lot of my scalp when my hair is parted down the middle, especially under bright light but I'm not 100% sure if it's thinning or always been like this or if it's because im pushing my hair against the way it naturally grows. My hair doesn't noticeably feel any thinner than normal. Second pic is how I normally have my hair. I was thinking of growing my hair but i cba if my hair is eventually gonna fall out anyway.

Im sorry but the part is too wide, meaning you either have poor density naturally or have had some mild hairloss which isnt noticeable yet, remember most people only notice hairloss when you lose 50% of density. Better go on finasteride as prevention.

Yeah 1 month later and I'm pretty sure I'm balding, my hairline has receded about an inch but theres slight thinning that goes back to around the nw4 area. I think will develop the island soon, I'm 19 so i guess it's going to be very aggressive, probably inherited this from my maternal grandfather who started balding mid 20s. I was hoping I'd stay a nw2 with no thinning like my father has. Not sure whether to bother fighting it or not.

My hair naturally has a weird density, the individual hairs are pretty thick but i think i have less hairs on my head than the average person, the back and sides of my hair look very thin and patchy and lots of scalp shows when it's buzzed but when i grow it out its very thick but you can see alot of scalp when I make a parting. Im like 50 / 50 on whether my crown is balding but my hairline is 100% thinning and receding at my left temple but not very quickly atm.

Hairloss perhaps, but be made well aware that drugs like finesteride can have paradoxical reactions in some people that make the hair much worse, not to mention the bodily side effects. Do your research.
