...or you rub your other head. Forever.

That's a thought I had today when applying minoxidil.

Hard truth.

I find Minoxidil such a fascinating hair loss treatment, and the most enigmatic. We all know how other treatments work except for Minoxidil. You've got to keep using it or if you quit the treatment, the hair you've regrown will fall out.

I think it can be very good but it's not a necessary treatment and quite tedious. Shame I refuse to use it since I have miniaturised hairs on my hairline. I would only use Minoxidil if it became vital. Like if finasteride wasn't enough, dutasteride wasn't either, lack of hair for multiple transplants and I had begun diffusing badly into a Norwood 6 pattern.

I agree on "enigmatic" Agustin, it really is. An accidental discovery yet one of only two approved drugs.

Indeed, Wolf Pack. Minoxidil isn't the easiest treatment but can be quite beneficial in some cases. It really is a long-term deal if one decides to use the drug. Minoxidil sure has helped me out, no way I'd be maintaining my hair without it even being on Dutasteride + RU58841.

How is your hair btw and the scalp? Is Dutasteride helping your hairline? With finasteride my hairline corners are filling in a bit.

Wolf Pack, my hair and scalp are better now. :) Yes, Dutasteride has helped my hairline, if it wasn't my entire frontal third would probably be bald by now. Of course, I have issues every now and then because my male pattern baldness is so aggressive, but hopefully the treatments will keep it staved off.

Agree with Wolf Pack's comments on Minoxidil, IMO it is the last treatment people should try. Wolf Pack why don't you just up to dutasteride before you have your transplant? If your corners are slowly filling in on finasteride then dutasteride could gain you a fair few extra hairs in that area which at the very least would add to the thickness of your transplant.
