So me thinks that some sides of finasteride might be due to Estrogen. Can a Estrogen blocker prevent some of these sides. And im pretty sure it wouldnt hurt your hair since your not directly putting Testosterone in your body.

Are you talking about doing that systemically? If you're doing that systemically, it probably _will_ raise testosterone levels, much as an aromatase inhibitor would do.

Selective estrogen receptor modulators, no. Aromatase inhibitors, yes. As Bryan says, it will raise your testosterone level, but it won't hurt your hair. I recommend large amounts of zinc, 50 - 100 mg a day to reverse finasteride side effects at early stages. Zinc works as an AI. Prescription AI's are generally very potent and hard to dose correctly. Too low estrogen level is just as bad as high estrogen level. It affects joints, brain function and sexual function.

I would use caution, I lost alot of frontal density as a result of arimidex usage. Plus, estrogen levels stay low for months; four for me.

Yeah, it can take several months to recover if you drive the estrogen level too low. Hairloss is listed as a side effect in the Arimidex leaflet. It's probably from the hormonal change, not increased testosterone level. Use of Arimidex is not recommended without regular monitoring of blood values.
