Eucapil success

I kept putting off this post for a while. Some of you know that I have been on this forum for years (on/off) and have been of skeptic of everything and Eucapil too. But finally tried it since February or so.

Why did I use Eucapil?
No side effects. Not just for me, it's the way it works. Experts on this forum know that. It is an anti-androgen, works in a different way then fina but maybe less effectively. It is backed by 2 studies.

What did it do for me ?
In April of each year my hair sheds like if I was going to be bald iNW6 in a month. Hundreds and hundreds of hair. I remained bald-looking until September when things start improving. I am very cyclical btw.
This year it didn't. That was my test. Maybe not the most scientific but I can't see other reasons. I am in the month of June and don't have to hide yet.

Is it just me ?
You will see on the Forum that many think that Eucapil have decreased shedding for them. By the way: decrease shedding means more hair. But that is relevant mostly (not exclusively) for the diffuse thinners of course.

Why I am putting this post ?
I thikn this is something that we can add to our regimen. If you have money you can double the dose and triple it too and I have many reasons it would work even better this way.

I think it's good thing to have a regimen eucapil + minoxidil :virtually no sides (only from minoxidil side). Regrowth + maintenance

Am I connected to Eucapil, have any vested interests?
NO! as a matter of fact I would like to see another company buying the patent and improving the drug, making it cheaper and easily available. And of course making a longer study than just 3 months. The technology itself was, if I am not wring, developed in California.

IS it too expensive ? Yes, but less than hair transplant. And if you spend 20K on hair transplant you wouldn't be very smart saving 300$ a year at the cost of your hair.

Thanks for posting this, I just ordered 3 months worth of eucapil a few days ago. I plan on using it with topical spironolactone and hope to see some reduction in shedding.

great to hear that..how much eucapil do you use ? i had to use at least 2 ampules to see some results but i am 41 .

fluridil + RU looks like a winner combo..and if you add a bit of finasteride or dutasteride then you will get even better hair thickness (no regrowth!) .

i am off dutasteride since april and can still maintain ok so far.

Yes . I would really like to get hold or RU but again I am afraid since it never reached commercialization. Why is that, I have no clue.

as for eucapil.. i think on average i am using 1.5 a day. That is some days 2 some others 1. If it wasn't for money I would use 4 a day :) .. of course i would do it gradually although no one i know reported any sides of any sort

funny how eucapil is often ignored. I would have gotten more responses if i wrote a "tomatoe juice" success story.

if you are doing eucapil and RU you might have noticed significant gains have you ?
I am really thinking of adding RU as evidence is there . HOwever I am PUZZLED by the fact why it was discontinued and few people talking about it. Is there a way to know more ?
I am afraid mainly about side effects. particularly sexual. have you had tehse concerns ??

Thanks

Good to hear i wanted to try this one.

I've read somewhere that you don't need to apply any other topical before/after the treatment. Did you do that and how longer i shoud not put anything on my scalp before/after.

waynakyo, RU was never disconntinued..it has simply never gone though FDA approval process and marketing. I think the cost to have it go though FDA is too high perhaps.

On its own, RU is very effective and more powerful than fluridil. I am a great fan of fluridil because of its smart mode of action and lack of side effects, but frankly it cannot thicken existing hair as much as topical flutamide or RU can do.

fluridil is very good at stopping shedding. RU can stop shedding AND thicken existing hair.

BTW to answer your other question on "gains" these 2 drugs will not grow new strand of terminal hair on bald areas, i did get 3 or 4 new hair at the hairline but those were never able to grow past 1 cm.

RU will give you some side effects, mostly erection issues IF you use too much of it. I got strange side effects, like loosing erections in the middle of intercourse and not feeling anything with my penis..kind of a very weird numbness feeling..but this cleared up when I stopped RU for 3-4 days.
I was using 400mg a day..this is quite a lot of powder.

Since then, i cut my RU dosage by half to 200mg a day and have no more erection issues. Hair on this combo is fine too.

Is it true eucapil is loaded with alcohol? How does it affect the hair cosmetically?

Is this something you can use along with Propecia and Rogaine? Or is that a no-no?

About Eucapil
Yes I use with with minoxidil but not at the same time. I put minoxidil first, let it dry then put Eucapil. Sometimes I use 2 bottles and sometimes one.
It think it is very powerful in stopping shed ( I agree with el_duterino it cannot regorw hair). I think I am going through the perfect experiemnt. I have decrease my dosage of eucapil for 1 ever 2 days (because I was running out of it) and now I have to wait 10 days to get the next and I am already out it has been 3 days. I noticed that the shed has significantly increased. This time I ordered for 3 months.
Again for the completely bald areas it might do anything. Stopping shedding = significantly decreasing hair loss.
However I did NOT have any hair thickening.

About RU
I am so disappointed to hear it had some ED side effects. I have promised myself not to touch a drug that could even at 0.001% mess with my manhood.
I agree that decreasing the dose will help. I was about to order but now I am not so sure.

El-duterino: did you get any side effects from propecia ? are you on it? how do you compare the side effects of the two ? what is the dosage of RU that had absolutely no side effect. RU gives a first shedding effect ?

I would love to have a hair thickening thing, that + maintenance would be perfect for me.

Of course you can use it with propecia. You just have to put it and the salp is dry and leave it dry for few hours. So putting rogaine before (2 hrs) would be just fine.
Good thing is that it doesn't smell, it has a refreshing effect (alcohol), no one can notice it (so I put it at work during breaks). Don't forget to check a recent post by michael berry and how fluridil (i.e. eucapil) decreased sebum for him .

waynakyo, I was on finasteride for 6 years from 1998 to 2004. I was using only finasteride and it worked great at stopping hairloss. No side effects !
Then finasteride stopped being sufficient..all of a sudden miniaturization and shedding incresed over the span of a few months.

Then I switched to dutasteride..hence my ID ! again, worked great on hair for about 4 years on its own but towards the end did not stop hairloss anymore.
I had low libido at times on dutasteride..kind of a roller-coaster, sometimes libido was fine or even quite high.

During those low libido periods, I used v****/cialis, which solved that issue pretty well.

So the combination of dutasteride + RU can give you some slight erection/libido problems because both are powerful anti-androgens.

I stopped dutasteride because I want to be great in bed right now since I am in a new relationship. RU has a lot better ratio of results vs. side effects.

In any case, none of these side effects are permanent so you can go ahead and try it for yourself..

RU has a very short half life..even if you get some sides you can stop for 2-3 days and everything will be like before.

el_duterino, i just received my eucapil in the mail today and I was wondering about a few things. Can you apply eucapil and liquid 2% spironolactone at the same time? What about minoxidil? I know eucapil is destroyed when in contact with water, but minoxidil/sprio are alcohol based i think?

I received it today too. They said they haven't experimented with that (the company).
Hence I would be conservative and use it on a DRY scalp. IF you HAVE to put them around the same time, I would put EUcapil first. Wait an hour at least then put the others. But if you want to take advantage fully of Eucapil try to use it twice daily. I think El-duterino would agree it is more powerful this way.

Does anyone know where you can get this from for the cheapest price?

also, I take S5 cream, do I need to get this product too for maintance or is the S5 cream enough because they both kinda do the same thing which is to keep what you have...

I had asked about using Eucapil with propecia. Seems like the answer is yes, but wouldn't using both increase side effects associated with DHT blockers? or does this scalp treatment only remain in the scalp?

I am very wary of unproven methods which is a good and bad thing. I don't want to do anything that will put myself at risk. Unfortunately for me, it seems like my 11 year old regimen of propecia and rogaine is not as effective as it once was. My hair is seriously starting to miniaturize and my hairline is getting higher and higher.

Regardless, I'd like to try something new, but I don't want to put myself at risk if using the two together is a no no. I'd really prefer to be able to have sex than have hair.

Further thoughts?

Kube,
no one has had any side effects from eucapil AS FAR AS I KNOW.
the study showing that it has NO systemic effect on the body was done in the US. It has been sold in europe for a while as a cosmetic (maybe 3-4 years?)
so i guess if there were any side effects we would have heard. There are days I use 3 of them.
You can use it with propecia for sure, and if yoou get side effects I can bet 100% it's from propecia.
PS: I am not a doctor and this is just a humble opinion.

PS2: I personally seriously thinking of trying RU .. but THAT might have side effects if you read..
