Guess who suffers from advanced hairloss in this picture. Even if you are a world famous rockstar, you will not showcase your hairloss, which means to me, you are brought down by it, or at least not indifferent about it. It blows my mind, how is this f***ing disease is not taken more seriously. It tortures so many people mentally.

Yep, it's not hard to tell. But if Lars only took that head wear off and just projected confidence then....
(sarcasm)

I don't think it was an accident. Unless if years of substance abuse finally caught up with him (? ) I think Lars' fashion faux pas was a deliberately executed (artistic) paradox. It should be self evident to the observer that Lars is boldly expressing himself in blatant satirical stylethat there is nothing cool about hair loss.

Yeah, he has become the parody of himself. Hair loss helped him a lot in achieving this great result.

This confidence joke is getting worse than the 5 years one. Does it really never get old? Or do you guys just love circle jerking each other that much?

I could never quite wrap my warped little mind around it either. How could anyone ever tie confidence to hair loss?

A question for the philosophers. Bald philosophers.

They say Socrates poisoned himself because he was going bald, and he's had enough of that sh*t. Before drinking the poison he said "I know nothing, except the fact that if you go bald you're fucked"

Pedophilia probably poisoned Socrates before Androgenetic Alopecia set in. Hair loss was an obvious suspect, but more conceivably only a minor accomplice.

Here Guys with Baldness are having tough time to handle Hairloss and personal Impacts.
And some guys have too much free time that they care for hairloss of a Rockstar or Filmstar...

Yes life is short and rife with problems and maybe too often open to the modern ravages of free interpretation.
If I were speaking from a health care professional's point of view I would hope I would adopt a higher standard of ethics
respective of the fundamental compassion famously associated with my field of expertise,
and that my private attitude(s), would not interfere with my commitment of developing a deeper understanding for
human suffering. No matter how trivial they might seem.
However, I doubt ( ?) that the majority of our members at HairLossTalk.com are members of the health care profession..,
therefore dear sirs and madams, feel free to ravage away!

The lead singer definitely has hair loss.

The singer looks like he should be on a GOP convention (actually, he probably is).

Lol, or a groom longshoreman, posing with his best men/crew at his wedding reception.

I do not think that the thread owner intended to waste time on other people's problem. He was referring to his own situation by comparison.

What he wanted to show is that if Lars Ulrich needs a hat to cover his baldness, although he is the middle-aged drummer of the most famous metal band in the world, then there must not be a lot of room for us to believe baldness does not matter. Just food for thought, there is no need to suggest people "get a life" if they have a different opinion than one's own.

What really blows my mind is that we do not have more effective options to treat this sh*t? Especially since it negatively affects so many people. The Big 3??!! Gimme a f****n break. It blows my mind that in today's day and age, a young man who wants to curtail his hair loss has to take a medication designed to shrink his prostate. Or he wants to regrow hair, he's got to take a weak vasodilator (not even originally intended for hair loss) that doesn't regrow more than peach fuzz for many men.

And also, if Lars was suffering from this type of hair loss when he was just starting out (in his early 20's), we probably wouldn't even be mentioning his name today. I'm a lover of glam rock but even in 80s thrash, virtually everyone had full heads of long hair.

The other day I was having lunch with some colleagues and we were talking about metal music. Someone talked about the horrible "Turbo lover" video.
I said "I read on a forum that the singer of Judas Priest is one of the few metal singers who is bald".
A female colleague, who is smart and funny and is into music, goes dramatically "I knew that. Poor fellow :-("

Well, I had it coming. She was just sincere.
