So I've been using Spectral DNC-L for about 6 months now. I always used relatively large amounts of it in the past and occasionally had irritation, I would just always use less as a response and it wasn't a problem.
However I had a particularly bad episode of irritation that produced a red, raised rash in certain parts of my hairline, probably about 3 weeks ago now. I stopped for a few days and it cleared up fine.
Now whenever I use Spectral DNC-L, no matter how miniscule, insignificant of an amount I use, it produces bad irritation that lasts for a few days.
I'm not sure where to go from here. I've order "NR-07" but I've been told that this likely won't help, as it actually contains more alchohol than Spectral. But I've also been told that some people have bad reactions to the ppg (propylene glycol, a transport vehicle) in Spectral DNC-L, and ppg does not exist in NR-07....
Does anyone have any suggestions/comments/similar stories, anything that would help me out here? I'm not sure what product to try next, and I know if I can't stay on a growth stimulant then my hairline is simply f'd.
