Hi guys, I am turning 21 this year and I discovered that I suffer from hair loss since 2/3 years ago.

Perhaps due to my long hair? Because years before that, I always kept my hair not longer than 3cm(something like that), then when I went to university, I started to change my hairstyle to a little longer(check the photos). And also maybe due to my scalp problem.. *sigh*

My problems:
1) Itchy, Red and Oily Scalp (Since I were 14/15+)
2) Visible red dot but not acne on some part of my scalp (Since I were 14/15+)
3) Hair thinning, Hair loss. Most severe part - around the hair vortex (Since I were 18)
4) Grey hair

Photos:

Hope I am able to find a solution here, please advise.

Are there potential side effects associated with propecia? Yes. Are they rare? Yes. Does the fact that people go online to look for help but not to praise it skew the results so that it looks like it's a horrible drug that you should never touch? Unfortunately, yes. I've taken it for over 3 years with no side effects. There are people on these forums that have taken it longer and had no side effects.

I get mine online from http://www.4rx.com/online-pharmacy/cate ... pecia.html

I've been taking Finasteride from them for the last 3 years. My hair loss went from 200 hairs a day to about 25, so I know it wasn't just a sugar pill or something like that. They have online support for questions, and they told me this: "We have more than one supplier for the same medication and we ship out according to the availability of the stock. We carry generic Propecia manufactured by GenPharma, Sunrise, Cipla and Intas Lab Pvt."

If you're worried about budget, then I would suggest going for 90 1mg caps first. If you don't have a problem with sides then make your next order the 5mg caps and you can quarter them (1.25mg) to save some money.

2 money saving tips if you go there...
1: Let's say you want 90 caps. Add the 30 caps to your cart instead. It will take you to a checkout page, but it will also give you a chance to upgrade your order to 90 pills for $7 cheaper. Same goes for if you want to get 360, add 180 to your cart first

2: Use the promo code Q52EM37T during checkout for another 10% off. That's my promo code that I got for being a return customer, so feel free to use it :)

You read my story, so you know that I'm trying to sell you on the product...not the website :)

Hey, I'm asian as well.

Let me tell you..do not mess with propecia or finasteride..It'll ruin your sex life, if you have any. I think what you should do is don't worry about your hair line, The inevitable is gonna happen. Bald is the new thing now adays. Just get a short haircut, and hopefully by the time you are in your 30's , you can get a hair transplant if you want. Dont' mess with any of these meds. Just let it ride and as you get older you will appreciated my advice. I was like you in my 20's and wanting to try the miracle cure. In the end, it'll have very little effect. So enjoy your life man...

Please, don't listen to his statement. It is not a fact that it will ruin your sexlife. Re-read my story. I heard about the side effects and it kept me from doing finasteride for 2 years...and I lost a lot of ground during those 2 years. I've been on it for 3 years and have no problems with my sex life.

Those 2-5% of people that got side effects make up 90% of the stories online about finasteride/Propecia. The numbers are really not that skewed.

I've heard of the side effect he mentioned, but it's like when you stop taking it, the side effect will gone and back to normal, anyway, I will give it a try no matter what, I believe there's still hope.

I heard people said that this Nizoral can only be applied once or twice a week, can't be used daily? Any other shampoo you use besides this?

I quit finasteride as well for 2 years, and the side effects still persists. True, there are some guys who take finasteride and not suffer any kind of side effects, but if you're in that 2% or whatever, you take that risk of future long term impotence and other sexual side effects ,,,and trust me...it aint no fun. If I had to do it all over again when I was 21, I would not take the finasteride or propecia. Stick with Rogaine and nizoral......I can tell you that since you have red itchy scalp, the rogaine and the nizoral may aggravate....It happened to me and i had to go to dermatologist for medications....

Things are beginning to make sense.

3xtreme - stay well away from anyone trying to convince you that ordering hormone altering drugs off the internet without consulting a doctor is OK. Especially when they are advertising for a company.

If you want to fight your hair loss then book a consultation with a hair loss specialist or better your GP.
