Is it normal to shed facial hair on finasteride? I'm almost 6 weeks into finasteride 1.25mg and I've noticed my beard and mustache thinning out. I now have quite a few completely bald tiny patches. I'm sure I'm not just imagining things. The shedding/thinning pattern is the same as what's happened to my head after finasteride. Is this normal or should I be concerned that something else is causing it?
PS. The bald patches are nothing like the alopecia areata ones. They are tiny and in no particular shape.
