few minoxidil quesitons...... please help

i recently started minoxidil... using xandrox at night... regular 5% in morning... nizoral as my shampoo......

3 questions...
1. if my scalp is itchy is stupid to keep using or should i try to stop and moisture till it goes back to normal then continue again!?
2. on left side i see little black hairs coming in in a small area and on right side near hairline i see the thin thin blonde hairs are there but aren't developing into black ones... these blonde hairs have been there for a long long time.... so they didn't grow from minoxidil but when u lose ur hair should't the blonde hairs go aswell?.....
3. how long till most of you saw results from minoxidil... or how long to convert these tiny blonde hairs into thicker brown ones

It was a little difficult reading your post.

Anyway, here are my suggestions/opinions:

1) How itchy is your scalp? How much are you applying? If it's really bad, then you shouldn't be using Minoxidil. Try applying a little bit less, then gradually applying more. This helps.
2) These are minoxidil-dependent hairs. They probably won't grow terminal, unless you bump up to a greater minoxidil solution, like 7.5, 12.5, or 15.
3) I saw results in 3 months. I'm still continuing to see a lot of thickening. For me, it reasonably took 4-5 months for a lot of those vellous hairs to become terminal.
