I never had wrinkles or a chubby face. People will find things they've never noticed before about themselves and attribute it to things. Pelican said:I was on finasteride 5 or so years, had some slowly creeping significant effects that I've posted about here before, and which with close attention I could have averted - and all of which I've recovered from after several months (save for the weight, which is still coming off) -- but wrinkles weren't one of them. I can't say on puffy face since I put on weight, and I've always had full cheeks, but in the first few years I did not put on weight or develop a 'puffy face'.
I'm over 30 now, and aside from the very fine lines running under the eyes (not full crow's feet, just stuff most every guy over 20 who has been in the sun gets) from smiling and facial movement, lines that most people don't even see, I've got excellent skin, as good in appearance as it was in my early 20s (with the advantage of no acne, or rare acne).
On the flip side, a lot of guys taking these drugs are in their early-to-mid 20s and beyond, and that's exactly when guys do begin to notice fine lines and their faces fill out. It's likely mostly coincidental. And that these lines appear doesn't mean they're going to keep appearing at that rate; my own 'lines' appeared in my early 20s, maybe even early, and have barely changed in the next decade.
