ok, god finally answered my question a few years ago when i asked myself how my life could get any worst. and who says god never responds? he made it loud and clear to me.

ok, i got diffuse thinning all over. a few questions:

1. Does minoxidil help with diffuse thinning?

2. Can u list all the side effects of Minoxidl? i heard facial swelling. i do not want that cause i'm butt ugly enough, thank you.

3. How long will it be till i see results?

4. And do i have to do this for a lifetime? if i stop, will i start from square one again?

Thanks. I'm not planning to take finasteride. yet cause i just got through a bout of oily skin and a little acne.

Diffuse thinning is thinning all over the top righ? When you hair becomes really weak and you can see your whole scalp but you have no hairloss?

Or is it just your hair is thinning but its still not 2 bad and you have no loss?

Or is it some thinning and receding?

If its number 1 your introuble. You like got hairloss all over. minoxidil is just a growth stimulant. It might help and prevent loss. But you need a strong DHT BLOCKER if you have thinning.

Propecia
spironolactone

If you have thinning I would use Xandrox 5% because it has azealiac acid which is a pretty good dht blocker. Regular minoxidil is just a growth stimulant it wont stop the dht. Im sure a dht blocker will help ya out :)

Yes it can help with diffuse thinning,i wouldnt worry about the side effects very few experience any.Give it at least 8 or 9 months before you make any judgements as far as positive results, and yes you have to keep it up once you stop you will loose what you gained....although dr. Lee says you can maintain with a once a day application of his Xandrox formula's.If your not planning on proscar you will still need to look into a dht inhibitor
