Finastaride Thinning Timescale And Help With Results

hi,

I’m sure this has been asked many times but I’ve had a look extensively through google search etc.

I have thinning in the center of my head to create an island of a fringe (sucks also already a Norwood 2.5/3) I’m just wondering if I started to take finastaride now or very soon. How fast would the thinning stop and by stop I don’t mean regrowth I just mean not to get any worse than it currently is.

Stay on for at least a year. Some don't experience regrowth for up to 1.5 years. But if it stops the hair loss and reverses miniaturization you are winning

I go on holiday in 9 days with my fiancé. Would you start finastaride now or wait till you got back from the holiday, I’m really undecided lol

I'd wait since you will probably go through a shed in the beginning

I was under the impression the shed doesn’t usually begin till after month 1-2?

Yo Wardy! If I were you, I’d start after your holiday. I think it’s better to go on a holiday with a clear head, no stressing about hair loss and medication. In one or two weeks, your hair probably isn’t gonna be worse than it is now, so just have fun, don’t focus on the hair loss and start when you’re back!
