finasteride 1mg a day?

Is finasteride 1mg per day an appropriate dose? Total of 7mg per week.

That's what I am about to start trying, changing from a different dose schedule

I thought it was the standard dose?

In general the dosage of finasteride barely matters at all, look at this figure:

So it doesn't really matter what the dose is, though your wallet cares about the dose. I did a naive calculation the other day that taking creatine with finasteride could lower the effect from 70% inhibition to 55% inhibition, but that's an idealized scenario. It would need to be tested as a means of actually lowering the dose.
