Finasteride .5mg every day vs 1mg every other day

What do you think is better for reducing sides and maintaining hair? I’ve heard people talk about the half life of finasteride only being 6 hours, so take it every day, but I’ve also heard it takes awhile for scalp dht to increase. What do y’all think?

The idea is to keep the levels constant. Taken daily you avoid valleys and peaks. Larger doses in intervals will cause spikes, followed by deficit. This will shock your system and make things worse.

You can even take it every 3rd and will work effectively as the half life is 72 hours.

The half life is only 8 hours, but it suppresses dht for 3 days, but yeah I agree
