Similar here. I'm almost at the 3 month mark. At one month, I shed a lot less. At 2 months, it has picked up. Supposedly it drops off at the 3 month mark, and by month 6 you should start to see results.

My hairline starting losing a lot of ground about 2-3 weeks ago, and theres thinning there that I never saw before. I hope that this is the bad shed that is expected. People say that your hair is going to look worse around the 5th or 6th month or so. The worse thing we could do right now is to stop, so I'm still going to give finasteride the full year. Then maybe consider dutasteride at that time, if things have not gotten better.
