no shedding, yet...waiting for that I guess. tried minoxidil for along time and no results. the finasteride seems to be working, tough. i haven't had blond hair in ten years...maybe it's because of the summer months, and the sun...but...we'll see.

had a little acne, too, and some testicle weirdness...but subsiding now. hope it stays that way....

the effect varies from people to people. maybe my shed is just earlier. bt the weird thing is i had a less hair loss during the first two weeks of propecia and now, sadly, shed like hell...

it will be reassuring if someone here have a similar experience

I'm on month 4 of finpecia. Hair is getting worse (don't know if it's a shed per se) but hair is def not maintaining. Hairline is receding a lot and heavy crown loss. hopefully it stops?!

you shld be able to tell whether taking propecia helps you or not. As i started taking propecia, within the first week. There is hardly hair falling out when i ran my hand through my head. but now its about 3 hairs come out when i did that.

Similar here. I'm almost at the 3 month mark. At one month, I shed a lot less. At 2 months, it has picked up. Supposedly it drops off at the 3 month mark, and by month 6 you should start to see results.

Yah, I just finished my 4th month and I'm in the same situation as you. My hairline starting losing a lot of ground about 2-3 weeks ago, and theres thinning there that I never saw before. I hope that this is the bad shed that is expected. People say that your hair is going to look worse around the 5th or 6th month or so. The worse thing we could do right now is to stop, so I'm still going to give finasteride the full year. Then maybe consider dutasteride at that time, if things have not gotten better.

Make sure you have a legit supply. You should be noticing a reduction in hair loss by month 3, and new hair growth by month 6.
