Finasteride and minoxidil on international travel

Hi guys,

Have you ever took a flight with minoxidil (liquid form) or finasteride in your checked baggage ? I'm about to travel to Europe next week and i wanted to take my treatments with me. I don't know if it's allowed.

Minoxidill dont require a prescription but for the finasteride you should take with you a prescription proof.

Ok thanks mate but the fact that minoxidil is a flammable product isn't a problem for the checked baggage ?

Thats more suspicious considering its a liquid. It could be anything.

TSA opened my carry-on bag during security check in 2007 because my Rogaine foam looked like a "bomb." They threw it all in the trash, laughed and were like, "OH, IT'S JUST ROGAINE" making sure everyone within ten square miles knew I had Rogaine. Thanks guys

That's helpful, thanks for the replies. I was looking for this info. I have got some meds from BidRx.com recently, and I will be travelling to Europe, so I was wondering if it's ok to take that with me or not...

Nobody, let me repeat, nobody, who searches your luggage will care about some minoxidil or finas in your luggage. No one. Stop worrying about that.
