Finasteride And Oral Minoxidil. This Is The Ultimate Hair Loss Combo.

Been on finasteride 1.25mg a year now and 2.5mg oral minoxidil 2 months and have to say the 2 together seem to work very well. No sides from either (still early with minoxidil) but reckon the finasteride has stabilized my hair loss and the oral minoxidil is starting to bring through some small regrowth in little hairs popping up. Was still seeing hair come out in the shower with just finasteride but since starting oral minoxidil this is down a lot.

Whats peoples thoughts or experiences with either of these?

Finasteride wasn't strong enough to halt my baldness but i have been on oral min since october 2018 and dutasteride since november 2018 with alright results, nothing major. But definitely an improvement.

That seems quite a lot. My derma recommended me on 2.5mg a day

I personally think 5mg is the optimal dosage, there is a well known derm who has prescribe hundreds of patients with 5mg and has had great results with no sides, i plan on reducing my 10mg down to 5mg once i run out of 10mg pills. Then again even 0.6mg has shown to be effective so 2.5mg might be enough, try it and see.

Yeah one of the studies conducted for hair growth with oral minoxidil had the patients take 5mg so i think your right

Microneedling is helping a little and I'm working on perfecting a supplement combination. I'm currently talking to a chemist about having my supplement combination balanced out and all put into 1 thing that is taken as a liquid under the tongue rather than multiple pills.

I might market it if anyone is interested. Will basically be my combo in my profile, but dosages cut down to what I feel is more appropriate rather than just what I can get (ie: 7mg zinc instead of 15mg, 2.5 - 5mg iron instead of 30mg just broken up, etc) and a safe HGH added. Will have a formula that is only vitamins and minerals, then an extra strength with minoxidil added, and a prescription strength with finasteride added.

How long have you been needling with oral minoxidil? i have been using oral since october 2018 and restarted topical about december 2018, just recently dropped topical though. Is the oral min and needling a good combo from your experience?

I've been needling for about 6 months now, but very inconsistent. I did weekly at first, then biweekly, now monthly. Just been too busy with work and not enough days without concealer in.

I did see results and would up it to twice, 1 deep 1 at .75mm, if time allowed.

Very tempted to just get a transplant and be done with it alll though. Only problem is the needed downtime. If I was able to be in and out and back to work looking like I do now with full coverage within a week I'd be setting up my appointment right now. I just can't get more than a week off for any time in the foreseeable future.

Here is the ultimate based on my experience. I don't have time to respond to questions so do your own research.
1. Finasteride topical soln 1% daily or 2.5% every other day with Minoxidil 5%
2. MSC Exosomes with a scaffolding (amniotic solution is best, PRP second best), Repeat every 2-4 years

All of these treatments are available. Do your home work. McGrath does Exosomes in Austin but easy to do yourself via needling with perhaps
superior results. Think Mexico for Exo or for the application of the Exo compound product.
