finasteride and sexual sides

I took propecia for about a year and experienced sexual side affects. To be blunt, I was unable to experience a full and healthy erection.

I did not experience new growth with propecia. However my hair did not get worse. After being off propecia for about half a year, my hair started to thin again. I now have a thin spot on my crown about 3 to 4 inches wide.

Is there anyway to take finasteride without getting the sexual sides? like lower the dosage?

Just out of curiosity, once you stopped taking propecia were you able to have a full and healthy erection again?

I've been on finasteride for about 3 months now and my libido has taken a hammering lately and I can't maintain an erection for longer than 5 minutes now. I was fine up until about a week ago.

I'm considering just giving the finasteride up :(

Been there, done that. Completely stopped finasteride and I now have total sensation back and am able to maintain a full erection. Decreasing the dosage just lessened the problem, but by no means alleviated it completely. Many people here try to suppress this information concerning side-effects, frightened that finasteride is their only option. But look around the forum, with just a little imagination and divine inspiration, you'll find there are a host of other options. Good luck.

I was on only 0.5mg of finasteride daily for 7 months and It effected me also. After 1 week off the finasteride everything is back to normal.

I'm now trying Revivogen to maintain my hair but don't imagine it will be as effective as finasteride. Only time will tell.

So its supposed to be 1% who get this side effect. So is that BS? Are you guys part of the 1%? I've been on for 3 days so far in hopes to get a hair transplant to fill in my temples and front, the hair transplant recommended propecia to avoid shockloss. I met a lot of guys at the hair transplant club who were on Propecia who said they are doing bonerific and still horny as ever. They are not getting paid by anyone, they are former hair transplant patients who come to share their experiences. Then I hop online and its like 100% of propecia users have the sexual sides. I don't get it.
