As above. Im taking finasteride for almost 8 month and my hairline is still receding and thinning. So its the end of my all hopes of stopping male pattern baldness..?
Finasteride is just one of the weapons against hair loss. Are you using anything else? Minoxidil, Nizoral? What about dermarolling/scalp massages...vitamins/supplements/diet? There can also be an issue with the scalp (besides DHT) that is continuing to cause the thinning, such as inflammation or excess sebum clogging the pores and not allowing the follicles to grow properly. You might have to address these issues first to reap the rewards of Finasteride. I would also pair the FInasteride (blocker) with Minoxidil (stimulant) and dermaroller to maximize your results.
