I'm wondering if those who are overweight are more likely to experience side effects with finasteride, as fat cells aromatize testosterone to estrogen. Please vote.

Edit:
Refrased question. Severe side effects include loss of libido/erectile dysfunction/impotence and breast pain/gynecomastia. Occasional testicle pain/prostate pain, reduced ejaculation volume/watery semen, occasional rash after ingesting finasteride etc. is not. You get the picture.

hmm, maybe you could take something like curcumin, resveratrol and a form of mild ginseng, ashwagandha or schisandra, to keep your T and E levels healthy. The only downside is your free T could potentially go a little high.. I'm not sure about that.

Of course you can also get estrogen lowering supplements and drugs like DIM and I3C, but I don't know which combos of the above would achieve the most preferable effect.

I've heard that zinc supplement lowers the estrogen level, but have never tried it myself. A safe choice would be to use a low dose of AI drugs like arimidex, for as long as needed. It's important not to lower the estrogen level too much though, so blood levels needs to be checked until it's stable.

hello guys,

I've got a question; how long it takes after stopping finasteride to clear out and not to be dedected in a blood test? I intend to undergo a gynicomastia surgery and claiming a insurance coverage! Thanks
