finasteride Didn't Work For Me. I Took It For 4 Years, From Age 30-34. This Past Summer I Lost My Temple Pts

Quick backstory:

I went through a sudden loss of my temple points last May. The intense shed spanned the summer and right now, I've lost my left temple point while the right one is still there but barely.

I've read from Dr. Rassman that temple points are 100% under genetic control and is something meds won't help. (Example, look at Jack Nicholson. Bald up top but has a sharp pair of temple points).

So I panicked and switched to dutasteride, brand name. I've been on it for about 4 months now.

Can't really tell if either finasteride or dutasteride work for me. It feels like finasteride never worked after 4 years.

Has anyone else been on finasteride or dutasteride for years and then suddenly experience major hair loss? Thanks

yes that's common
i was on finasteride for 6 years then dutasteride for 4, both times it worked well until it just seemed to do nothing
May want to look into an anti androgen as T can still cause hair loss by itself
