Hi all,
I've been wondering if it would be safer to switch to propecia from generics. All I think about is my hair and now paranoid thought of generics being risker/less effective came to my mind. I know it is probably irriational but I need someone to calm my mind. Did anyone here used generics solely and can confirm it "worked" (by that I mean dht levels were dropped). I've been using the brand accord.

I assume you mean finasteride accord? It is exactly the same substance and the same amount in that as in propecia, the only reason for it being cheaper is that propecia had patent on their medicine earlier, which is no longer the case. I got accord by my dermatologist in Sweden and I can guarantee you that this socialistic country full of regulations would not let the pharmacies in Sweden sell some bogus crap.

There is no reason for you to change to another brand. Its not like you got accord from the drug addict around the corner.

All is in your mind. I used both Brand and Generic (from "STOP99BALD"). No difference to me (only price), both work great.
