So I've been taking finasteride for quite a about 4 months now , why hasn't my inflammation subsided? If inflammation is a result of the immune system tackling the hairs which have become consumed by DHT , why hasn't the decrease in DHT been followed by a decrease in inflammation?

Doesn't make sense to me..

I'm also having issues with this although I'm just a week in.

Just solved my problem. Went out and got some nizoral, applied twice during the course of my shower and just like that, no more itching or redness.

:punk:

edit: Which makes me wonder...how bad is it to use this stuff everyday? I know you guys recommend every other day, but why?

oh I know nizoral will stop it , I was taking Ketconazole 2% for a while , but I stopped because I wanted to see If I would still get inflammation. My question is since Inflammation is indirectly caused by DHT the drop in DHT (by finasteride) should be matched by a drop in inflammation , but this has not happened , my inflammation is as bad as ever. Makes me wonder how effective finasteride is..

Mine is proscar by the way.
