Finasteride Is Giving Me The Opposite Side Effects As To Whats Generally Reported

Hey new here, had to sign up to ask you guys who have had time and experience with finasteride.

So I've been using finasteride 1mg per day for a month fully expecting my libido to dip more, but the complete opposite seems to have happened. I say more because I have had a rough time the last couple of years and have been Incredibly depressed throughout this time and my libido was getting worse proir to taking the drug as a result of the depression, causing the usual things people report as part of PFS like softer erections, low volume of ejaculate etc, unsure about the sperm count but honestly I dont give a sh*t about that I have kids and dont want more.

But in the last couple of weeks I have been feeling a little better as far as mental health goes. As well my libido seems to have been jump started and its turned me into a complete horn dog, boners are harder and the amount of ejaculate although a little more watery is like 3 times the amount.It actually got so bad one day last week that I felt blue balled.

So is this like a high before the crash because of a higher amount of free testosterone and when I come down the real problems start?

OR will it just equalize back to "normal"?

Specifically interested if anybody else has had similar experiences and continues using the drug with no real issues.

What you are experiencing has nothing to do with finasteride.

so you were depressed and after a month on fina your libido is getting stronger and you feel better.
that's not uncommon at all. Finasteride does its job pushing T (by inhibiting dht) and for the first period you experience a real jump in testosterone.
now, depends on your aromatase enzyme function to establish how much time your boby needs (weeks, months, years) to convert the exceeded T into estrogens, with any consequences (which are not obvious of course);
many people can bear this estrogens raise and dht inhibition, but still...its different for everyone

Like you say once the aromatase, enzyme function does it's job and converts T into estrogens thats when the bad side effects start to show up, things like low test or low progesterone leading to gynecomastia and ED?

You dont have to fear something you didnt experience and you're not sure you will ever have side effects.
You know you're taking a dht blocker so you're aware of the risks...
Just saying what you're feeling now is not uncommon
