finasteride kicking in?

I've been on proscar 1.25mg for about 4 months now. Really hard to say whether or not things improved or slowly got a bit worse, but I was just wondering how long approx. does it take for finasteride to stop the loss. It just seems like my temples are going to go no matter what I do. The rest of my head is fine, I don't get it.

finasteride can take a while. Apparently, it even takes up to 2 years for people to see the full results of it.

You should also be aware of the fact that, although finasteride might help the hairloss on your temples, it is most effective further back. This doesn't mean that finasteride will not work at all; it only means that it might not work as well as you expect it to in that area.

You really should add Nizoral to your regime if you haven't already, BTW.

according to merck, 1mg of finasteride could start working as early as 3 months...

if you dont see results in a year, it's unlikely that propecia works for you and you should get off.
