Finasteride Making Acne,High Libido and Shedding

Hey guys i am 25 years old norwood 3 guy, and i am using minoxidil almost 2 years and ketaconazole shampoo im on 1.25 mg Proscar EOD for 1 month and getting these side effects after began Proscar should i keep using and when these side effects pass? Thanks.

Nobody can tell exactly what it is. Thinking of the sides that you mentioned the worst case scenario is reflex hyperandrogenicity, if yes then you need to stop taking finasteride right now or acne and shedding will only get worse, or maybe it's not, who knows. It's better to see a doctor and check your hormones.

İ gave blood test before began Finasteride everything was ok.

First of all I don't know exactly what's happening with you, it's just my guess. Speaking about reflex hyperandrogenicity, those small percent of people who have it can't use Finasteride, as long as they continue to block DHT they'll always have these sides, their body will react the same always, unfortunately. If your face and/or scalp are oily like never before then stop using it. I had similar experience but only with acne. Finasteride gave me acne as well, but without shedding. My face was clear before I started and after I was using it for 3 months all my face was full of acne like I'm a teenager with hormone problems. I just had to stop using it because it was getting out of hand, it was getting worse every day. 3 months without finasteride and I'm still recovering from acne and post-acne.
