I am 36 male. My hair start thinning about 4 years ago (2004). At that time I didn't care and I did nothing. Then in early summer 2007, I started shedding like a dog. Every morning I woke up and I could find hundreds of hairs on my pillow, hundreds in the shower.
This how my crown looked in August 2007:
Then I started to search th internet and I feel myself extremely fortunate to find such a forum.
I started reading all stories and experiment and treatments. I read about the Big 3. I read all the "horror" stories about Finasteride. But at the end I decided to give it a try.
I used Minoxidil liquid 5% twice a day and 1/4 Proscar per day, shedding stopped 10 days later, and I really couldn't believe the results after 6 months of treatment:
I didn't have any single side effect from Proscar. So I think there's too much exaggeration about Finasteride sides.
