Here is my story ):
Well, I'm 23 years old man who is suffering from acne for about 7 years and (still suffering) !
My acne (on the face) was getting worse after having a sexual intercourse with my girlfriend.
I've asked many dermatologists about this issue but they told me that there is NO link between Sex/ejaculation and acne.
they prescribed for me some antibiotics - retinoids etc .. NOTHING WORKED !
I've also tried Roacutane under my doctor prescription IT DOSN'T WORK !
I told my last dermatologist to do an experiment.
The experiment was to count the number of acne and pimples before having a sexual intercourse and 1 day after.
He agreed
We have counted the number of pimples/acne (before ejaculating) we have found : Total 4 pimples
1 day after ejaculation : Total 10 Large inflamed Pimples (mostly located on my chin and 2 on my neck)
My dermatologist was shocked !
He said that he cannot do anything for me !
he advised me to continue using some retinoids, benzoyl peroxide bla bla bla...
Anyway,
I've read on many forums that it could be DHT.
And When i ejaculate a chemical process takes place.
It is the convertion of Testosterone onto DHT.
and DHT somehow triggers Acne and even make it worse !
And i decided to take action !
To test that DHT / Acne / Ejaculation / hypothesis I've decided to try Finastride (proscar)!
I've started with 2.5Mg per day for about a Week !

My acne was reduced by about 70%
And when i ejaculate i don't get new Acne !
I've decided to stop finasteride for 2 weeks and retry it after that. To confirm the correlation between Finasteride DHT and Acne !
After 2 weeks off.
Acne Come back, as before !
and when i ejaculate i get many large inflamed pimples (mainly under my chin)
Started again finasteride for 1 week with 1mg a day.
My acne was reduced also by about 70%
And when i ejaculate i don't get Acne !
I tought that i found my cure after years of searching !!
Well Not exactly !
In the paste few days I've found that i'm loosing a lot of hair !
Every morning i lose between 10 and 15 hairs (which was NOT the case before)
What the hell is that !
Now i have 2 issues :
ACNE and HAIR LOSS
Please i need some advices I neeeeeeeeeed help !
I don't wanna lose my hair and i don't want get ACNE ANYMORE !
Any advise would be appreciated !
