Finasteride oral and side effects- anyone had this

Hi all

had a frontal hair transplant 2.3k grafts in January 2021 just gone- and have been on finasteride since November 2020.

what I noticed was it completely stopped any hair shedding from month 1-3 then around late March or early April I started to get shedding like before (dose 1mg x 3 times a week)

continued this up until end of May- as it was giving me cystic acne and acne on upper back which I’ve never had before/ and also my scalp, plus my eye brows were shedding (never had this before finasteride)

so decided to switch to topical finasteride.

Anyone else experience this?

Forgot to add- since I stopped oral finasteride and switched to topical

bizarrely I’m only shedding about 10 hairs during a wash but previously it was prob 40 or so

People can experience acne from Finasteride but it is less common, Topical Finasteride goes less systematically but does still go into your blood.

Check this compound pharmacy I use for Topical Finasteride might work out cheaper as they give discount.
