Finasteride Possible Side Effect After 5 Doses

Hi Guys

I have just started taking finasteride 1mg a day I've been on about 5 days, the drug seems to be quite powerful already my hair has not been falling out when styling my hair so I was very happy about this, the problem is last night about an hour after taking finasteride i started to get really bad nose bleeds which is odd because I have not had a nose bleed in probably twenty years now, I know it could be a coincidence but seems a bit strange that it would happen now I've started taken finasteride, Ive never heard anyone say anything about this. I do think this drug will work for me so I do not want to stop taking it but my thoughts after 5 days is my body is not strong enough to handle this drug. Ive also had the urge to urinate for the last 2 days but that could be down to drinking more water.

Should i carry on or is this a way of my body trying to tell me to stop the drug.

It's not uncommon to feel the urge to pee more often when on medicine.

As far as nosebleed goes, did you get multiple?

Got one nose bleed that lasted for a good half hour then tried to go sleep two hours later and it happend again.

I really dont want to give up finasteride as well but I truly believe its to powerful

Then keep at it, see if the nose bleed occurs more than during one evening/night.

Going to carry on if they carry on I will just stop using them

Is there a less powerful version of finasteride my hair is not receding rapidly

You can take less than 1mg a day by cutting an 1mg pill in half, taking 0,5mg a day. You can also take 0,25mg by cutting it another time.
