Just interested:
as far as i am aware, Proscar which is designed for Prostate treatment, but happens to be a DHT inhibitor as well comes as 5mg (prostate treatment dose) - you then, when using it for hair loss, cut it up into 4 (5 is too difficult!)- it costs say (at Inhouse) $30 ($32 actually) for 30 tablets- that is: 120 doses = 25cents per dose.
Propecia comes as 1mg dose (ie: the correct dose) costs: $25 for 30 tabs = 83cents per dose.
(I have used the generic Kipla brand from India as the example)
Thats a significant price difference. What 'type' of Finasteride do people actually use?
