Ok I randomly came across a forum where posters post sexual, physical and mental problems they claim are caused by finasteride.
Some examples are
-soft c****
-shrinkage
-grey hair
-weight loss
-excessive sweating
-bloated stomach
-and many more

http://www.propeciahelp.com/

Are these people actually anywhere near right? or are they just blaming all of their problems on finasteride?

Once you are bald it is hard "to get it in" as well especially in a "hot chic"......

I think so. Many of these guys can't distinguish correlation from causation. Some of their claims are contradictory - weight loss and bloating? As for grey hair, well it's called ageing, deal with it. Excessive sweating? Try changing your deo.

Some people might be hypochondriacs, but finasteride side effects are real for some people. I had side effects on finasteride ( brain fog, low libido, weak erections) and had to stop. The brain fog alone was too much.

I quit and recovered completely. It wasn't aging, because I'm still getting older as we speak. Even my semen volume went back to normal after stopping finasteride. (not that I was worried about semen volume, but... it's one thing you can't blame on your imagination. If you take finasteride and suddenly nothing is coming out... then stop finasteride and things go right back to normal, I think the cause it pretty obvious).

Most people don't get side effects, but there are those who do and I'm living proof.

I got initial side effects from dutasteride (low ejaculate volume) but it righted itself after a couple of weeks. I don't doubt that finasteride - and dutasteride - both cause side effects in a minority of men. However, I do doubt claims of side effects which were never reported in any of the trials, and/or which could easily be attributable to other causes.

So because you couldn't get an erection on one single occasion you're gonna dump finasteride? Be prepared for hair loss!

If that works, colour me amazed.

Whoa, I didnt know the website had been posted. Im a finasteride user. I was just wondering out of curiosity how much of that was true as some of them seemed far fetched.

I suffered sides on finasteride. After 2 weeks or so the libido radomness seemed to calm down but the tiredness/brainfog I tollerated for a couple of months but reduced the dose to 0.5mg then a month later to 0.25mg and then the side became tollerable. So don't give it up..just reduce the dose..stats show even 0.25mg has 70% benefit of full dose.

Bad news is its not worked after 6-7 months, still losing hair, so I moved to dutasteride..i'm on full dose of that 0.5mg per day and surprsingly no sides at one week in...so each drug people react differently to . You gotta try all the options before giving up, i'm trying it all.

Always reminds me of Lawnmower man when he's trying to find a way out to get into the telephone system/internet and pushing every button/port and eventually he finds one. Keep trying everything for hairloss and something will work, its just finding it that's the problem...
