finasteride shedding

How long does the shed usually last when you first start taking finasteride? I've been told that propecia use is like gambling. Some people grow their hair back after the shed and some people don't. How true is this? How many of you have had good results with propecia? Also how does avodart compare to propecia as far as results and sideeffects go? Are the side effects worse? :moon: :moon: :cry: :cry: :lol: :freaked2:

I hear if you do get side effects but stick with it, they can go away as your body adjusts... Aint tried it so cant really comment but thats what I heard anyway!

Shedding can also be seen as good sign though, some times it can lead to regrowth and you will notice your older hairs can come out thicker, its scary to me but im sure some of the guys who have used it will give you a better review.
