Since I started taking finasteride for hair loss (1.25mg/day), I no longer have the previously intermittent problem of starting to urinate or completely emptying my bladder. I imagine I had some mild BPH (benign prostatic hypertrophy) that has responded to it, even though I am only taking 1/4 the recommended dose for BPH.
Most of the guys on this board are probably not old enough to need/benefit from this, but I certainly am not complaining about it.
