I started taking propecia in 1999 when i first began seeing signs of hairloss. In 2006, I stopped propecia after it lost its effectiveness and I began losing a lot more hair. I switched to dutasteride and after a few months regained what I had lost and even grew more hair. I also added minoxidil to my regimen to help regrow more hair. It had all been going well until a few months ago when my hair just started getting thinner and my hair looked terrible.

I was thinking that I perhaps had built up such a tolerance to these meds, that they are no longer really effective for me. To try to see if this was the case, instead of taking larger doses of the meds individually, I have taken them both together. I have seen posts where especially CCS has taken them together but was wondering if anyone has also done it too?

Its been about 2 weeks now and I have noticed all the signs of shedding or miniaturization of the hairs which means that it could be working.

My hope is that taking both of these together will help but I really don't want to be dependent on having to take both. Ahh well.

Has anyone on here been on propecia (finasteride) for a long time, stopped and restarted finasteride and seen results?
Any ideas guys? thanks

your male pattern baldness just became more aggresive...

I dont think doing two at the same time is a good idea.

Banging two chicks at onc is otherwise.

perhaps my male pattern baldness has become more aggressive, but it always has been. I will see what happens when I take both. So far, no real crazy sides. Maybe taking both meds will come hand in hand with banging two chicks. I have always been a one girl man but hell, why not change it up.

thanks!
