Finastride Losing Its Power After 1 Year And A Half? Other Options?

Hey guys I have been using Finastride 1MG for over a year now, maybe a year and a half. It seems to have stablised hair but my most concerned area the temples, it didn't really help with.

Now in the last month I feel my temples have got to their worst position yet, before they were not so evident and now I know they are as I'm having to use more concealer and hair thickener so it cannot be seen.

I'm guessing the Finastride may be wearing out now in terms of power?

What other options do I have, can I try topical finastride? Or do I go onto Duta?
I've had someone tell me I need an FUE for the temple areas
Anyone one has suggested Dermarolling on a weekly basis

Thoughts?

You can try dutasteride at 2.5 mg dose. Spironolactone in conjunction with dutasteride works better but it comes with a lot of side effects.

Hair transplant

You really think so? :(

I am getting mixed messages about hair transplant, some clinics told me I have a full head of hair and transplant is not advised - and to go onto a dermarolling/laser light type of treatment

Another told me I can get small transplant just for the temple areas

Yes, get a conservative hair transplant to the temples; stay on finasteride. Done.

Wouldn't do a hair transplant if you cannot stabilize hair loss with meds

You do one now, it will take a full year to give you the end results and by then you would have lost another band of hair behind the hair transplant making it look very weird

Try adding minoxidil

That's exactly what I am concerned about. I already have Minoxidil for 2 years. Finastride is 1 year and a half.

Last month may be going through a shed of some sort as my temples are getting effected what feels to me like pretty hard, and specifically my left one which was always my concern.

Surviving on Caboki Hair Fibres at the moment :(

Different Surgeons tell me different things, some says do small treatment for temples
Some say I have full head of hair, no need for transplant and I need to do PRP or Dermarolling/Light Therapy treatment alongside the meds I am already on

I'd imagine your penis doesn't function anymore as well. Considering you say your dht is 0%

Hey, what's your finasteride/dutasteride regimen? finasteride daily and dutasteride sporadically?
