finax?after being on finpecia for a year with reasonable results i decided to change to finax by Dr reddy labs, mainly due to all the fake stories about finpecia. I've almost completed my third month on finax and i must say the side effects have been much worse- I've had ball ache constantly tho i think this is settling. also my muscles in my arms and legs twitch and feel restless and tension in the evenings everyday - very worrying-i come from a medical profession and know that this is due to the finax. the sides when i started finpecia weren't half as bad and settled after a few weeks. my hair has never really peaked on finax too and beginning to think if i should have stayed on finpecia. just wanted to know if anyone else is using finax and how they're getting on.

So, Finpecia worked for a year and then all of a sudden you thought it was fake? It's next to impossible to "fake" Finpecia, the fact that they come on blister packs, just how would one open them and seal them again? Also, the price of Finpecia is dirt cheap, it would be stupid move on behalf of the supplier to fake them.
Yeah I'm not sure why I switched. I just read some stupid **** on these forums about good batches and fake batches being mixed together. And with all the cycles of shedding I had, I just put 2 and 2 together. What confuses me is that finasteride is finasteride, and so why should one company's finasteride give me bad sides compared to another Finpecia which hardly gave me any. I must say that the Finax definitely looks good, tablets look genuine, whereas Finpecia tablets look and feel like plastic.
Ps I dont think its that hard to make fake pills - the packaging and tablets can all be made pretty easily.

No specific reason, it seems quite a few people on here take zinc, I guess as a pre-emptive measure with regards to the oestrogen, it supposedly suppresses it.
Regarding "faking" Finpecia, why? There would be next to no money in doing that, one strip costs them less than a $1 and they sell them for $6-7 dollars per strip, if they wanted to make a ton of money whilst ripping people off they'd be better off using v**** or other expensive generic drugs like that.

Irishfella i totally agree with you that they're all real. I've read that link you posted before- it doesn't text finax though- only the finasteride made by cipla. what i don't understand is if all the drugs are finasteride why would i get more sides from one than the other. in that same link there are some users who only use the brand of finasteride that they get sides from!?! Im confused. ill probably keep using finax for a year but if it keeps giving this muscle cramp Im gonna switch back to finpecia or even the more expensive ****- propecia.

ya i came across fake batches ..i started using finpecia in april 2013 .....
i used 3 different batches from 3 drug stores
after 6 months here is my review :- i think fake is something which is made with less quality ....a bad product type
1st batch finpecia :- taste was new so i felt it was normal ...hair used to shed ....used for about 1- one & half months ...hair was like normal hair
2nd batch :- no taste i though this was fake but this was actually genuine it made my hair black and thick ......i loved it
3rd batch :- now this is same as 1st taste bit stronger ...after using this i saw shedding again also lot of itching (iits like stinging) , hair lost its thickness now...feeling normal
what i say is fake is a product which is not properly made ......there are for sure diff tasting finpecia ...trust me i dont lie ...also i dont have to
please buy after tasting and using for couple of weeks ....dont buy in bulk . this is my answer
btw i just want to try out finax cuz of fake finpecia ...how is it over..did anyone got any results ?
