Finpecia

Around this time last year, I was shedding like crazy. :freaked2:
What I noticed was that my hair roots had gotten extremely small compared to before. Also all the fallen hair was thin towards the root. I'm 32 male and it seemed like a male pattern hair loss.
Being desperate, I researched online looking for the answer that would work for me. Then I started taking Finpecia (Generic Propecia/Finasteride) once and applying Rogaine twice, daily.
During the first 2-3 months, I was still seeing occassional sheddings, but it wasn't as bad as before. Starting Jan. 2007, I stopped using Rogaine but stayed on Finpecia, which I got from mensrxshop.com.
Now I notice my hair roots got back to normal size, hair thinning stopped and its process got reversed. I started seeing my hair having extremely thin up top, and thick towards the root. :woot: :punk:
I'm gonna continue with Finpecia! :) G'luck!

Well done!
It has to be an amazing feeling seeing that the treatment is working.
I hope I will get it to some day! :)

I'm also taking finpecia and have been for a couple of months - it seems as if I 've shed most of the 'weak' hairs along my hairline so hopefully the shed will stop there. Also applying rogaine foam but I'm thinking of stopping - what do people reckon? Should I stop using the foam and just take finpecia?

It depends on your hair. If you're just looking to keep what you have then I suggest taking only Finpecia. If you want to see regrowth in areas (i.e. temples, hairline) then I suggest usin' both.
