Donald Trump is the first bald president since President Eisenhower retired in 1961.

Should we all just adopt combovers now? No way could 70 year old Trump have won with a bald NW5 or if he "just shaved it off" or said "it's only hair!'. Instead the illusion of a full head of hair gave him the "confidence" to wipe the floor with Hillary in debates and become president of the biggest economy and military superpower on earth.

Dante, look how Donald Trump handled himself in debates when people criticised his hair or small hands, he just went back at them twice as hard. This is a good lesson for how to handle people trying to bully you over hair loss.

I find this genuinely inspirational. This must be how 80 year old black Americans felt when Obama was elected.

I can't really see how lifting can "lessen the pain". Besides, I've got a dislocated shoulder and have tp undergo surgery (I must wait at least a year), I can't practice any physical activity concerning my arms/shoulders. Besides, being a ectomorph with ridiculously narrow shoulders and small, girly wrists, I can't possibly gain nor improve my physique. And even then, I'm ugly and bald anyway.

Of course you cant see it. it's a state of mind, you have to feel it. Its about making the best out of a bad situation. Beats being depressed and apathetic. Im not saying its gonna solve everything, but it might be a step in the right direction. Basically my only copes theese days, lifting and hair transplant in future. Being a ectomorph myself i know its not optimal, but atleast its improvements.

Even if I wanted, I couldn't, at least for a whole year, as I already told you. And at age 25, options and possibilities to improve will be limited, or rather, nonexistent. When you're ugly, you're never young. I guess I must also thank finasteride for the total lack of energies and stamina.

Why would it be too late once you're 25? i just started this year and im 25, got nothing to show for just yet, but atleast its taking my mind off other things.

On one hand, you've lived in different countries, are doing very well professionally (I'm super curious about your field of work), have learnt two languages to an expert level (with one of them not being English). All by 25. The 25 year old you has absolutely smoked the 25 year old, heck the 35 year old me.

And then we have the HairLossTalk.com Dante who doesn't want to take any steps to improve himself and always asks "what's the point".

I have difficulty reconciling the two personas.

Firstly, he is far from bald. He actually has really good hair, especially for a 70 year old. Yes it looks odd to due to the style, a combover to hide old plugs, but it's not a classic comb over by any stretch of the imagination. This style enhances his unique image and gives him publicity.

I'm sure if he was actually bald, shaved down due to obvious hair loss or bad comb over, he probably would never have even been selected as a candidate. He would have looked old and weak, image is important in an election especially.

He has zero hair at all on top of his head except for transplanted hair at the front. He then combs his hair in a traditional combover sideways over the crown, and grows the transplanted hair at the front long and combs it back over the traditional sideways combover. Look closely and you'll see I'm right.

This is actually the most common type of hair transplant at the moment and a lot of people on UK tv have this, like David Cameron the former prime minister for example.
