so i took my first pill of propecia this morning. i'm about 7 hours into it and feeling a little "spacey". i think someone here described it as brain fog. is this normal? is this something that'll subside after i "get used" to the prescription? thanks

wow! just a question fellas and wondering if someone had the same experience. i feel it again today. its like a mild confusion. today i took it with food and yesterday i didn't. it's definitely to the point where i will not take it before work now.

I think the reason you're getting your chops busted is because while "brain fog" is a reported (although not officially documented) side effect from finasteride use, it is not something that would manifest 7 hours after your first dose. I believe "brain fog" and depression have been attributed to the eventual increase in estrogen (not fact, but theory)as most finasteride sides are, and you simply have not been on finasteride long enough for that to happen. In other words you are probably experiencing a placebo effect as many here do. One thought he was growing man-tits after 2 pills...see what I mean. Take it at night if you'll be more comfortable, but I assure you, that the "brain fog" you are experiencing is imagined. Do not think about sides or you will get them.
