(first Post) Question About Saw Palmetto Dosage

Hi, I'm a new user here and I have a question about saw palmetto dosage/ efficiency. I'm 20, receding since I was 17. I'm at the point where I either do something about it now or never. I'm interested in saw palmetto. My question is can I take the 2 160mg softgels daily (as recommended) but skip the weekends to save on cost?
Or will it be less effective if I don't take it every day?

Saw palmetto is a weak treatment at best, @SmoothSailing reviewed the literature and found it to be a weak finasteride. Given that, skipping treatments is not ideal.

Thanks for the reply. I'm hesitant to try propecia but I might consider it.

You can get cheap minoxidil from Kirkland in the meantime.
