Hi Gents,
I lost my ground because of rogain foam and my scalp is terribly visible now.

Oct i'm getting married, so anyone could suggest some good advice to make my hair thick and better (only experienced folks please).

Moderator, since it is related to foam, please don't move this to other forum.

Thanks,
Ditto.

I know some styling tricks involving shampoos, volumizers, blow drying and toppik. I'd have to see what your hair looks like first before giving advice to your situation.

i agree, if you use thickening shampoo and blow it dry, you will have more volume in your hair.

How long have you been using the rogaine foam? I'm sure by now you've heard the shedding is normal speach. how long its been going on determines how normal it is. The understanding i got is that the hair that you loose during the shedding is in the resting stage. So its not gone forever. I started using a combo of the foam and propecia about a year back and I've seen some fantastic results. I stopped using the the foam around and started shedding again July. In august i started using Minoxidil again and i just stopped loosing my hair this week. If you have not tried already, i would going to see a dermatologist and getting some propecia. It may be to late for your wedding but around 3-6 months from then you should be very happy with what you see if you have the same results i did. Just watch out for acne.

Hi Gents,
Thanks for your answers.
I used foam around 7 months along with Propecia (1.5 years).
While i was in foam i was shedding crazy but after seeing lot of positive comments i continued my regimen (big mistake, i should withdraw little earlier).
After conducting pull test my dermatalogist recommended to go back to liquid (now i'm on liquid around 3 weeks, shedding seems reduced little bit) but alas my scalp looks terrible.

Now i'm thinking of how to make my hair looks little better and natural.
I don't want to use toppik or nanagen fibres.

Maybe i'll try dermatch. Please advice what kind of thickening shampoos, volumizing foam etc., to makes little better without harming the hair follicle.
Atleast i want to use it for a month.

Thanks for your advice!
Ditto.

Stay on min, if you are working through a shed your hair should look a lot better in 4 weeks.

Looks like people switching from minoxidil to foam have troubles. This sucks, maybe you should wait longer I don't know.

You can definitly use dermatch to give the impression of more density. And it's more safe to use on a wedding day than toppik.

Congratulations for your wedding by the way. :bravo: Love for your wife and children will give you more confidence than your hair would ever give you. I have hair, but I'm still waiting for love :). Let's remember to love ourselves first : We are not those hairs, we are not this skin, we are not this body, we are this eternal soul that lies within.
