Foam Response Method?

Have been on foam now for about a month and was wondering what to expect re method of regrowth and timescale.

Seem to have thinned out noticably on the crown and vertex though am hoping this is a positive sign. Shedding seems to be slowing down and was wondering if anybody could hint at a time scale for regrowth after a shed.

One positive thing I have noticed is a definite improvement in my hairline, if the top responds in the same way I could be looking at results well beyond expectations.

Yes rogain alone !! FOAM ! It works! I had never even heard or used any of the pills, medications that so many people on this site use . I saw the rogain foam ad on tv. Bought it. and Bam! 7 months later I got hair on my head!!! Yes lots and lots of shedding. A month in half of shedding sacrifice.Very awfull I was scared as hell ! Thanx to rogain I gotta girlfriend she loves my hair! Im 34 yrs old.

My shedding has actually stopped dead this past weekend and i'd swear if I didn't know better that i've had a bit of extra growth too.
Was really bizarre to be honest went from handfulls every day to almost nothing in the space of a few days.
Looks like the last 11 months on various meds is finally starting to pay off.
Will be sure to chronicle the next few months for others on here, just wish i'd taken pics a year ago but only started looking on the forums recently.
In reflection i'm feeling pretty good about things now and if I can offer any encouragement to others on here thinking about giving up i'll say STICK WITH IT, seems like a hopeless cause at times but it's worth the worry and riding out the sheds.

Hey CD79, how long did your shedding last? I will have been on the foam 6 weeks on Friday, and I'm not too pleased about the amount of hair I've lost in that time! I guess my shedding has lasted for about a good 10 days or so.

I'd hazard a guess at close to a month.
Maybe three weeks or so when it looked as though I could stuff a pillow every day with what i'd lost.
Reason I posted today was because I was shocked at how quickly it went from that to practically nothing.
The thing I take heart from the most is the speed of apparent regrowth, it's the first time since i started my regimen (Finepecia 11 months, Rogaine Foam 1 monthish) that i've seen any evidence of effects.
My hairline was receding badly at the temples and thinning all over elsewhere.
Now I can see clear signs of improvement with small dark hairs sprouting all along the hairline to the point where if I look at it from a distance it seems almost as though there was no recession in the first place.
Crown and vertex also seem to be responding quite well but it's the hairline that's really shocked me.

Don't quite understand what you mean. I've not stopped on the finasteride, just added Foam.
