Has anyone here tried foligain caplets?
http://www.newton-everett.com/(S(kkrdwmzddd3vveb2cbxbt245))/product_detail.aspx?PID=2356&CID=710

I am currently using keto shampoo, finasteride and multivitamins, and are looking to replace the vitamins. I think the ingredients in foligain looks promising as a complement to finasteride and keto. I know products like procerin and provillus are scams, but I think foligain might be good. At least the product has 1000 mcg biotin, which is proven to have some effect on hair loss. What do you guys think? Better than multivitamins at least?

Thanks AB! I agree, that look much better than foligain. I found two versions of it:

http://m.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2133888

And:

http://m.gnc.com/aHR0cDovL3d3dy5nbm...TMxODUuMzU5MzIwMi40MTg3ODMy#pr-header-2133781

Which one are you using? I think the first one (that seems to be a woman version) almost looks better as it has MSM in it and higher consentrations of most vitamins.

Also, I found another multivitamin, country life maxi hair:

http://m.vitacost.com/country-life-maxi-hair

It has even higher consentrations of most vitamins and also contains MSM. I think that one looks best, if its not too much in it. The price is reasonable too. What do you think?

Speaking with a good understanding of how the human body sufficiently uses vitamins and minerals, I suggest only take the "Ultra nourish hair" product from GNC as it contains just around 100% of the daily value you need. The issue with taking multivitamins with %'s in the thousands are absolutely useless, because

A) the stronger more potent vitamins compete for absorption and almost always win, so when you take 1000% of a ton of vitamins, some of the vitamins lose there window of bioavailability and end up getting pissed out.

B) Your body will reject higher concentrations of vitamins if your liver is healthy and functioning properly. Take a regular OTC multi for a few days and notice the changes in your piss. Same logic behind guys who drink 60g's of protein at one time. Your body can only process 4-8 grams per hour so it would be more wise to drink 10 g's of protein 4 times all night, albeit that is a hassle.

If you really want to vitamin load, just buy a vitamin with lower %'s and take 3 throughout the day, even this will only make a small difference, you will still sweat and/or piss most of it out.
